CUPCAKES

So, it's been a busy week. Monday I graduated grade 12... GO ME! Tuesday was my prom, it was really fun and Unca Mike took some awesome pictures. Thanks! Wednesday was my first physio appt, they gave me 2 exercises to do, and want me to ice my knee several times a day. They took away my brace, and told me I shouldn't sleep with it on... bright side, I can drive now. I also have a brand new car, a Hyundai Accent 2001.

Anyways, for my graduation, Unca Mike and Peggy got me a handy dandy very large cake decorating set, his sons and their mother got me a beautiful silver necklace, it's a heart-shaped key. My aunts and grandmother gave me money, and my aunt on my moms side bought me a golden baking book.

Now, I don't want to copy Julie and Julia or anything but I plan on making every recipe in that book, and telling you about it. I love the idea of trying to make every single one of the recipes. I've already made 2, Party cupcakes, and the Red Velvet Cake  recipe, which I turned into cupcakes. Both of which turned out very well. Everyone enjoyed them very much, including me, and I've managed to barely eat any. :)

For now, I'm back at my uncle dars, which is unfortunate, because I don't like being there, but it keeps me in town, and is a lot cheaper on gas. I'm applying for another job at the local grocery store in the bakery, hopefully I get it and I don't have to work at OLS. I also hope that it's a full time job, not part time. I don't really want to work at OLS, but it's the only place here that will offer someone my age full time work with benefits, that's over minimum wage. I'm torn.
