30 Things Every Woman Should Have Before She's 30

Ever wonder what exactly are the essentials in life? What should every woman own? Here's a list of 30 things I think every woman should own before she's 30:

1. A great bag - something big that can be paired with any outfit.

2. A classy/chic wallet - every woman thinks the perfect bag is all she needs, but wallets are just as important.

3. A passport - travelling is one of the most important things anyone can do, what better way to learn than to experience things first-hand?

4. A set of luggage that she's not embarassed to be seen with - yes, we've all been there, carring around an old set of luggage that should have been thrown out a long time ago.

5. An umbrella - very important, you don't want to get stuck outside on a rainy day without one, make sure it's small enough you can fit it in your bag, and make sure it's something you'll want to be seen carrying (not a ducky umbrella).

6. A good set of dishes - dishes are important, no need to say why, but a good set of dishes won't break or chip, and they'll go with any decor.

7. At least one piece of furniture that hasn't been previously owned - this is more for a sense of independance than anything else, to have at least one thing you can say "I bought that, and I earned it" and be able to use it on a daily basis is an accomplishment.

8. The 7 pairs of essential shoes- these consist of a 2 inch heel (a pair that can be worn with any outfit), a ballet flat (comfy, and chic), a high heel (something eye-catching), a chic boot (ankle, calf, knee, or above the knee all work), a sneaker (one that will be for every day use, not the gym), an all-weather boot (something warm that can be worn in snow, or rain), and a running show for working out.

9. A workout routine - everyone should have one, not just women, it is the basis of a healthy lifestyle.

10. A set of cook/bakeware - every woman should have what is needed to cook a meal and bake a dessert, weather it's just for herself, or for guests.

11. Makeup - this includes foundation, cover-up, bronzer, translucent powder, eyeliner, eye-shadow, mascara, lipgloss, lipstick, blush, and makeup remover)

12. Skincare products for her skin type - this includes at least these products: expholiant, cleanser, and a moisturizer (everyone needs to use moisturizer, even women with oily skin types, if your skin is oliy, moisturize only in the morning, then just wash your face at night, if it looks kind of dry after washing give it a bit of moisturizer, dry and combination skin types should moisturize twice daily, in the morning and at night)

13. A watch - this is important, yes you can use a cell phone to get the time, but think of a watch as wrist candy, it's fashionable and useful! Be sure to get one that goes with any outfit (think silver, black, white, grey)

14. A favourite accessory - every woman should have one, be it a necklace, a pair of earrings, a bracelet, a bag, a headband, anything.

15. A pair of oven mitts - no a dish towel will not do the trick, they'll be ruined before you know it.

16. A favourite outfit - it doesn't have to be a specific article of clothing, it could just be jeans and a tshirt, or a skirt and blouse.

17. A screwdriver set - having the ability to fix something if it needs fixing and not having to rely on a mans help makes you independant.

21. A vibrator - if we can't rely on ourselves for pleasure, who can we rely on?

23. Something she can use to show her creativity - be it a journal, laptop, paint set, sketchbook, or cake decorating set.

24. A resume that doesn't have any padding - being able to say everything on your resume is 100% truth and isn't exaggerated to make you look better is a huge accomplishment.

25. An email addess with her real name in it - it's a lot more professional than cute_bunny @______.com

26. A bank account only she has access to - nothing is worse than having your mom check up on everything your doing by getting into your bank account.

29. A hat - there are no excuses, there are so many types of hats out there you're bound to be able to pull one off.

30. The ingredients to make a drink - weather it be for her, or for guests, every woman should have this, and have one specific drink she can make.
